STARKISSED LA is a queer-woman-of-color owned and operated private tattooing studio located in Koreatown, Los Angeles.
As artists and clients ourselves, we have personally experienced the lack of queer and POC spaces in the art world, especially in the Los Angeles tattooing scene. While tattooing should be fun, inevitably, it is also an intimate and vulnerable experience to entrust your body with us. We thank you for considering our work and energy. We’re so excited to grow and learn as a collective creating space for those interested in getting tattoos to feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

@chumbystudiosThey got their start in tattooing shortly after graduating from university. They have been tattooing full time for 3 years. They are a machine tattooer who specializes in color illustrative work. Their style is inspired by their love of all things whimsical, nostalgic, and cute. When they’re not in the studio you can usually find Chumby at the theaters watching the newest horror movie and enjoying a sweet treat.

Apart from tattooing, Jules loves their kitty, going to concerts and crafting with friends.

Nayeli (she/they) is a French-Latina multi-hyphenate illustrator. Their vast body of work includes surrealist paintings, 2D animations, and character tattoos.
Specializing in telling unique stories through colorful illustrations/animations, she also enjoy things that give a vintage-feel. The sun shines brighter whenever she dives into the past such as dancing to 80's music, reading art history, and collecting antiques. When not creating, they can be found curating playlists, writing about adventures with her cat Peaches, or hiking in nature with her partner :-)
